I loved ‘Death Wish’, the first part in the Ceruleans series by Megan Tayte – and I loved ‘Forget Me Not’, Ceruleans part two! In the first book we were first introduced to Scarlett and her quest to find the truth about her sister Sienna’s last hours on earth – and also to Luke, Jude and a whole host of well-developed characters. With effortless flow Megan Tayte continues the story in part two, ‘Forget Me Not’ as Scarlett committs to finding her sister in the only way she can, with her death!
Poignantly, as her life draws to the only conclusion she can contemplate, her relationships have developed to a point where she struggles to let go; she grows closer to her mother, falls deeply in love with Luke and feels a responsibility towards his sister Cara. We also learn a little more about Luke and Cara and their background; the death of their parents, their ambitions and hopes.
I loved this book and eagerly await the continuation of the story in ‘Wild Blue Yonder’, the third book in the series.
I give ‘Forget Me Not’ 5 out of 5 stars.
