Being Me (and Loving It) by Naomi Richards and Julia Hague

I love finding these little gems; books that make tackling some of those tricky little moments of a child’s life so much simpler and easier.
Having been a Primary School teacher, as a mother of two – and of course as a human being myself who has grown up with all the self-consciousness, fears and worries as the next person – this books goes a long way to addressing these issues in a way that is fun, non-judgemental and positive.
Each story is structured around a theme with an introduction, an age appropriate story and suggested questions and activities with learning outcomes listed for the lesson planners amongst us.
It is also also a great resource for parents who might find themselves in the position of addressing an issue, without being sure how to go about it.
A full five stars from me!
